قرنبيط cauliflower
Etymology
of Arabic words: the word قرنبيط
(karnabit)
means cauliflower
and according to AED Dictionary derives from the greek word
κουνουπίδι (kounoupidi) which is a diminutive of the
ancient word κάνωπον (kanopon).
