اللوكيميا leukimia


Etymology of Arabic words: the word اللوكيميا
(loukimia) means leukimia and derives via German Leukämie from the greek language.
WIKIPEDIA:Leukemia (American English) or leukaemia (British English) (from the Greek leukos λευκός "white", and haima αἷμα "blood"[1]) is a type of cancer of the blood or bone marrow characterized by an abnormal increase of immature white blood cells called "blasts".
In Turkish is Lösemi.
