Etymology
of arabic words: the word ببليوغرافيا
(bibliografia)
means bibliography and is a loan word from the Greek language. The
Greek word is βιβλιογραφία
(vivliografia) and is composed by the words βιβλίο (vivlio)
which means book and the -γραφία ( grafia) which derives from
the verb γραφω (grafo=to write). In Turkish they use the word
bibliyografya.
