الجيوفيزياء Geophysics


Etymology of Arabic words: the word الجيوفيزياء
(jioufijia) means Geophysics (Wikipedia: Geophysics is the physics of the Earth and its environment in space; also the study of the Earth using quantitative physical methods) and derives from the greek language. The greek word Γεωφυσικη contains the word γαια= earth and the word φυσικη=physics. In Turkish is jeofizik.
