and the processes that shape them ) and derives via German from the
greek language . The greek word is γεωμορφολογία
(geomorfologhia) and is composed from the word γαία (ghea)
meaning earth , the word μορφή meaning shape and the word
λόγος (loghos) meaning “”study of””. In Turkish is
Jeomorfoloji.
