Etymology of
Arabic words: the word الأكاديمية
(akadimiya)
means Academy and is pronounced exactly the same as
the greek word ακαδημία
(akadimia) from where it derives. In ancient Athens there was the
famous Academy of the philosopher Plato. In
Turkish they use the word akademi.
