Etymology
of Arabic words: the word فونوغراف
means
phonograph and derives,partly via english, from the
greek word φωνογράφος (fonoghrafos) which is
composed from the word φωνή meaning “voice, sound” and the
verb γράφω meaning “to write, to record”. In Turkish is
fonograf.
