Etymology
of Arabic words: the word الغراموفون
(ghramofon)
means gramophone a trademark which was coined on the
basis of two greek words. The word γράμμα (gramma) which refers
to the verb γράφω (grafo) meaning to write and the word φωνή
(foni) meaning voice.
