(amafoura?) means amphora (two-handled ancient greek vessel for holding wine, oil, etc) or better αμφορέας(amforeas) i.e. the greek word from which it derives.The greek word is composed from the word αμφι(amfi) meaning “from both sides”
and the word φορέας (foreas) meaning bearer, porteur, transporter. In Turkish is amfora.
